Infofree.com was started in Omaha, NE in 2011. Our team has experience in creating databases and SaaS sales lead management software and helping sales people & business owners. Founder / CEO
Vin Gupta is our founder and CEO. He has started a multitude of companies. Vin recognized the importance of information and database management very early on. Vin helps small businesses build their marketing efforts, and offers quality information and databases to help entrepreneurs like himself grow their sales. Bob Smith is our President and CTO. Bob is responsible for all of the day-to-day product operations, as well as leading the company’s product development and technology strategy. Prior to joining the team, Bob worked on government research for the department of defense, on projects ranging from ballistic missile detection to weather effects on satellites to intelligent target recognition.

VP of Advertising
Michael Scott graduated from the University of Nebraska with degree in Advertising/Marketing. He is a highly motivated and results-driven senior-level professional with 25 years experience in traditional and interactive marketing. His specialties include: Marketing Communication, Creative Direction, Direct Marketing, Database Marketing, Events & Tradeshows, Brand Development & Positioning, Print Production, Media Buying/Placement and Vendor Negotiations. He’s married, has two sons, and loves to golf and landscape.
Kevin Shallenberger
Senior Software Engineer
Kevin Shallenberger is a veteran software engineer responsible for new feature development, team collaboration and daily product operation. Before joining Infofree.com, Kevin created products for the Department of Defense for over 10 years focusing on battle space awareness, target recognition and tracking, camera integration and UAV search patterns. Kevin stays on top of technology and continues to build products in and out of work.
Layth Al-Turk
Director of Sales
Layth Al-Turk is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and has been on our team for 3 years. As the Director of Sales, he is responsible for identifying and partnering with Enterprise clients. He has a passion for helping his customers grow their businesses and make more money. Outside of work, he is an avid sports fan, enjoys gardening, and is having the time of his life being a “dada” to his 1 year old daughter.
Paolo Dapo
Paolo Dapo is passionate about affiliate marketing and digital advertising. Prior to joining the team, he studied Business Administration and Management at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While there, he worked as a freelance CPC specialist and created his own affiliate marketing websites. He is responsible for managing advertising campaigns, social media, SEM, and web analytics.
Russell Johnson
UI Design & Email Marketing
Russell Johnson worked as a designer since 1997. He is responsible for email campaigns, UI-web design, creating and editing video tutorials & testimonials. He has a passion for creating and developing imagery of various types. In his free time he enjoys illustration, alpine skiing, boating and spending time with his family.

Prajol Shakya is a software developer. He started with the company as an intern and has been with the company for over 3 years. He has a M.S. in Management Information System from University of Nebraska Omaha. He is an end to end developer and also has experience in project management. Ryan Carlson has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He is a full stack developer specialized in building, testing and maintaining REST services in Java. He enjoys tuning/modifying his car, and biking on the trails near his home in Omaha.

LuAnn Radford has over 25 years of experience in product development, customer support, and issue management. She has an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Richelle Netzer received her MBA with an emphasis on Economics from the University of South Dakota and has been in the online payments and finance industry for the last 10 years working at Visa, PayPal and Bank of the West. She specializes in enterprise and licensing partnerships, focusing on exceptional results, the best data, and maintaining trusted partnerships. Vin Gupta – CEO / Founder

Vin Gupta – Founder

Vin was born and raised in the village of Rampur Manhyaran, one-hundred miles north of New Delhi. He spent his childhood without electricity or running water, and studied in a village school. After high school, he was admitted to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 1962. For the next five years, Vin pursued topics in Agricultural Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, building a solid foundation for his future educational and professional pursuits. After graduating from IIT Kharagpur in May 1967 with a Bachelor of Technology, he came to the United States with $58 in his pocket and settled in Lincoln, Nebraska. As a dual Master’s candidate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from August 1968 through May 1971, Vin devoted his time and energy to studies in engineering and business management. Earning his Master of Science in Engineering in 1969 and Master of Business Administration in 1971, Vin soon launched his career as a Marketing Research Manager at the Commodore Corporation in Omaha. During his time with the Commodore Corporation, a mobile home manufacturer, Vin recognized the importance of information and database management. He then started his own business – first named Business Research Services, and then changed to American Business Information – with $100 that he borrowed. He ordered all the yellow pages in the nation, and compiled his first list for mobile home dealers. For the next 13 years, Vin and his associates compiled and categorized the entirety of the United States Yellow Pages directories, with substantial demand from small-business customers. Upon its IPO in 1993, American Business Lists underwent many changes in the ensuing years. In 1996, President Bill Clinton nominated Vin as Counsel General to Bermuda. When confirmed, Vin was nominated to be U.S. Ambassador to Fiji. Due to his commitment to his company, he decided to withdraw his nomination. In August 2008, Vin retired from his post as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of his prominent database marketing company, leaving behind his legacy of hands-on leadership and measurable performance. Since then, Vin has returned to his entrepreneurial roots to found Infofree.com. Bob Smith – President/CTO, Co-Founder
As the Chief Technology Officer, Bob is responsible for all of the day-to-day product operations, as well as leading the company’s product development and technology strategy. He joined the company early in 2011 to take ownership of the technology from off-shore development, and has built the foundation, as well as the structure, which makes the products what they are today. Prior to joining the team, Bob worked on government research for the Department of Defense on projects ranging from ballistic missile detection to weather effects on satellites to intelligent target recognition. Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from Missouri Western State University and a master’s degree in computer science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly known as the University of Missouri – Rolla).
Michael Scott – VP of Advertising
Michael Scott joined Infofree.com in 2010, bringing over 25 years of marketing experience with him. While he’s a creative director at heart, Michael has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to develop a well-rounded skill set that includes branding and awareness, media buying and planning, and creative layout and design. Prior to joining Infofree.com, Michael was a part of a prominent marketing database company for 17 years as Director of Creative Solutions.
